lululemon unveils Ventscape run vest for cold-weather runners

lululemon (LULU) introduced the Ventscape™ PrimaLoft® ThermoPlume®+ Run Vest, a cold-weather running product, at the 2026 China International Import Expo. The vest is scheduled for a global launch in December 2026.

The vest uses a patent-pending construction that combines PrimaLoft ThermoPlume+ insulation with strategically placed mesh panels. According to the company, the design is intended to retain warmth at the start of a run and release heat and humidity as a runner’s pace and effort increase, by drawing air through mesh vents to flush out the body’s microclimate.

lululemon states the product was tested over 250 hours and across 2,500 kilometers in its product innovation lab and in outdoor conditions. Testing methods included thermal mannequin assessments and modeling and simulation to identify mesh and fill configurations.
