Air Suvidha Form Mandatory For International Travellers Arriving In India: How To Fill It

News18 · Abigail Banerji ·

The Bureau of Immigration says all international travellers coming to India, including Indian citizens, OCI cardholders and foreign nationals have to fill this form.

The Bureau of Immigration has issued an important reminder to all passengers travelling to India from overseas: completing the Air Suvidha Self-Declaration Form (SDF) is mandatory before arrival. The requirement applies to every international passenger, including Indian passport holders, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders and foreign nationals, regardless of their nationality or travel history.

In a post on social media, including X and Instagram, the Bureau of Immigration reiterated that the form is not optional and urged passengers to complete it before arriving in India. The requirement is part of the government’s public health screening measures amid the ongoing Ebola outbreak. Travellers have been advised to submit the declaration before starting their journey so that the necessary information is available to health and immigration authorities.
