DA Davidson cuts MasterBrand stock price target on soft demand

Investing.com - DA Davidson lowered its price target on MasterBrand (NYSE:MBC) to $8 from $10 while maintaining a Neutral rating on the cabinetry maker. The stock currently trades at $7.08, down nearly 36% year-to-date.

The firm cited ongoing challenges in the cabinetry market driven by softening new construction demand and higher costs. Upcoming tariffs and recent demand declines are expected to add further pressure on earnings. According to InvestingPro Tips, analysts do not anticipate the company will be profitable this year, with net income expected to drop.

MasterBrand continues to reduce capacity while faster synergy realization and market share gains are partially offsetting weaker demand conditions.
