Ex-Trump Aide Is Calling For This White House Official To Resign After ‘100% Preventable’ Loss

Caroline Sunshine said that if this official “loves and respects the president and his legacy,” they “will do the right thing and step aside.”

Caroline Sunshine, a former press assistant for President Donald Trump, is calling for White House chief of staff Susie Wiles to resign, blaming her in part for the GOP’s sweeping midterm loss earlier this week, which she claimed “was 100% preventable.”

“I’m going to say publicly what a lot of people are saying privately. Susie Wiles needs to resign,” Sunshine told Fox News’ Jesse Watters Wednesday night. “She needs to offer her resignation to the president before he has to ask for it.”

Although Sunshine credited Wiles for helping Trump win back the presidency in 2024, she told Watters that “her campaign skills have not translated into governing.”
