A strong earthquake struck central Japan early on Sunday, registering a maximum seismic intensity of 'upper 5' on the Japanese seismic scale in Aichi Prefecture, Prime Minister of Japan Sanae Takaichi said, confirming that there is no danger of a tsunami.
