Dr Richard Thorpe, 72, died a week after an incident in Kirkby on Bain, Lincolnshire.

The family of a doctor who died a week after being found with serious injuries say his loss will be "profoundly felt".

Dr Richard Thorpe, 72, died in hospital on October 31, following an incident at Kirkby Lane, Kirkby on Bain, Lincolnshire on October 24.

In a statement, his family said: "Richard was well loved and respected and his loss will be felt profoundly by his family and friends."
