Turkey stocks higher at close of trade; BIST 100 up 1.32%

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Metal Products & Machinery, Tourism and Information Technology sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 1.32%.

The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Tofas Turk Otomobil Fabrikasi AS (IS:TOASO), which rose 9.12% or 20.30 points to trade at 243.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Astor Enerji AS (IS:ASTOR) added 8.17% or 12.20 points to end at 161.50 and Ford Otomotiv Sanayi AS (IS:FROTO) was up 7.81% or 5.30 points to 73.15 in late trade.
