William Blair reiterates Exzeo stock rating after premium outlook cut

Investing.com - William Blair reiterated an Outperform rating on Exzeo Group (NYSE:XZO) following the company’s quarterly results.

Exzeo reported managed premium and ARR growing 17% and 8%, respectively, in the quarter. The performance reflected continued demand momentum across both new and existing carriers as insurers increasingly adopt the company’s underwriting platform and AI functionality. The company, with a market cap of $1.55 billion, trades at a P/E ratio of 19.65 and has been profitable over the last twelve months, according to InvestingPro data.

Management lowered its managed premium outlook by approximately $200 million to $1.35 billion. The reduction was attributed to slower premium onboarding as carriers optimize for efficiency within their existing books amid a softer market backdrop.
