The government on Thursday dropped the price of petrol by Rs9.41 per litre and that of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs5.56, in the fourth consecutive reduction in fuel prices.
Following the revision, petrol will retail at Rs352.59 per litre, while HSD will cost Rs382.25 on Nov 6 (Friday), according to a notification by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra).
The government continues to levy Rs114 per litre in taxes and duties on petrol and Rs100 per litre on diesel.
