- Tengku Puteri Zainah Tengku Eskandar, former wife of ex-PM Najib Razak, has died at 70, her son Mohamad Nizar Najib announced on Facebook on Nov 5.

- Nizar said he was grieving and thanked her for her “love, sacrifices and prayers”, asking Allah to forgive her and grant her Jannatul Firdaus.

- He had earlier said on Nov 4 that she was in critical condition in the ICU at Gleneagles Hospital Ampang and asked the public to pray for her recovery.
