The 13-person committee — consisting of six sitting athletics directors, four former head coaches, two former All-American players and a former sportswriter — release updated rankings every Tuesday for the next five weeks before unveiling their final rankings on Dec. 6, which will be used to determine the 12 teams who will participate in the College Football Playoff.
