U.S. stocks rose, Nasdaq gained ~400 points. Moderna jumped 9.1% on strong Q3 results and higher FY26 guidance; other stocks rallied on results and deals.

U.S. stocks were mostly higher, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 400 points on Friday.

Shares of Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:MRNA) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 sales guidance above estimates.

Moderna reported quarterly earnings of 38 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of a loss of $1.26 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.313 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $885.051 million.
