Karnataka’s food safety authorities have shut down the juice counter at a PVR INOX multiplex in Bengaluru after a video of disposable cups allegedly being reused sparked massive outrage.

PVR, however, claims that the cups were damaged and leaking. “We would like to categorically clarify that there was no reuse of cups and that the damaged cups were not used for dispensing,” a spokesperson for PVR INOX told HT.com.
