Two restaurants from Colin Lynch are coming to downtown Boston

Lynch is teaming up with a hospitality group to launch a members-only dining club and an Italian eatery in 26,000 square feet of downtown space.
After announcing plans to close three of his signature Boston restaurants, chef Colin Lynch considered leaving the city altogether. Then restaurateur Chris Jamison asked him to meet over dinner.
Jamison’s COJE Management Group is known for upscale, often travel-themed Boston eateries. Now the two men are preparing to unveil a duo of ambitious new venues in the heart of the Financial District: Leomatto, a sprawling Italian restaurant inspired by Sicily and the culinary influences of Southern Europe and North Africa; and The NoX, an invitation-only, private members’ dining club built around the massive vault of a former bank.
“I don’t want to get involved with a project that doesn’t scare me at least a little bit,” said Lynch, who got his start working with famed chef Barbara Lynch (no relation) and rose from chef de cuisine at No. 9 Park to executive chef of her former restaurant empire. “It’s a big project, so I think it’s going to challenge me, and I’m excited about that part of it.”
