DUBAI, UAE – Hotpack, a UAE-headquartered global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, has been named winner of the Renewable Energy Initiative Award at the recently concluded Gulfood Manufacturing Industry Excellence Awards 2026 in Dubai.
The award recognises Hotpack’s 2.2-megawatt (MW) rooftop solar energy project at its manufacturing facility in National Industries Park (NIP), Dubai, one of the largest solar installations in the industrial zone. The win marks Hotpack’s first recognition at the Gulfood Manufacturing Industry Excellence Awards, a major milestone for the company.
Completed in April 2025, in collaboration with Clenergize Consultants and Al Baraka Energy, the solar installation is projected to generate approximately 3.52 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy annually.
