Launch of Unidroit regional office demonstrates global confidence in Hong Kong’s broad legal system, ex-justice chief Teresa Cheng says.

Teresa Cheng Yeuk-wah, secretary general of the International Organisation for Mediation (IOMed) and a former secretary for justice, said on Wednesday that the opening of the regional office of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (Unidroit) earlier this week was a vote of confidence in the city.
