'Love is Blind' Boston's Aneha Singh on how she spends money

Aneha Singh talked about paying close to $3,000 a month on rent in Cambridge, her splurges on fashion and makeup, and what it means to be a "traditional modern woman."

The worker: Aneha Singh, 28, is a principal engineer working on rare diseases for a Boston biotech company. She was also a contestant on the Boston-centric 11th season of the hit Netflix reality show “Love is Blind.”

The job: Singh was on the pre-med track as a Boston University undergrad. After graduating, she ended up taking a job at a local biotech, “fell in love with research,” she said, and has been in the field ever since.

It was a similar serendipity that got her the gig on “Love is Blind,” where men and women date in “pods,” separated by a wall, before deciding if they want to get married, sight unseen.
