Luxon wants New Zealand to be more ambitious, confident, and prosperous.

“The morning actually is a time to take stock and check in with the family and do a quick bit of life admin and just check in with a few people and make telephone calls,” he told The Front Page.

“Then I’ll have some of my team come over to my house, some of my staff, and senior team, and then we will watch the results come through on the television like the rest of you.

“Then at some point there’s either a concession speech. Last time, Chris Hipkins called me to concede that there wasn’t a pathway for him to form a government.
