Muddy Water Crisis in Jeonnam-Gwangju Prompts Emergency Response Authorities flush pipes, distribute 1.8L mineral water to affected residents
Muddy water has emerged in parts of Jeonnam-Gwangju, leading to a series of resident reports.
According to the Jeonnam-Gwangju Special Metropolitan City Water Supply Business Headquarters and Buk-gu on November 6, resident reports were received around 6:10 p.m. that day that muddy water was flowing from apartment complexes and residential water pipes in Usan-dong, Duam 1·2-dong, and surrounding areas of Buk-gu.
Authorities who received the reports are conducting flushing work to drain muddy water from the water pipes through fire hydrants.
