China solicits public opinions on draft amendment to Tax Collection and Administration Law-
BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- The full text of the draft amendment to the Tax Collection and Administration Law was published for public feedback on Friday, after its first reading at the 25th session of the 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee.
China's current Tax Collection and Administration Law was adopted in 1992 and underwent a major amendment in 2001. After 25 years, its incompatibility with tax collection and payment practices has become an increasingly prominent issue, necessitating urgent revision.
The draft amendment consists of 100 articles in six chapters.
