Employees at the Dublin-based European headquarters of Artificial Intelligence (AI) firm OpenAI last year shared share based payment compensation of €8.27m.

New abridged accounts lodged for OpenAI Ireland Ltd show that the firm recorded post tax profits of €269,365 in 2025.

OpenAI opened its European headquarters in Dublin three years ago and numbers employed at the Irish unit more than doubled from 17 to 40 in 2025.
