Malaysian ambassador to Indonesia presents credentials to President Prabowo

Malaysia's Ambassador to Indonesia Datuk Muzafar Shah Mustafa on Friday presented his credentials to President Prabowo Subianto at Istana Merdeka here.

JAKARTA (Bernama): Malaysia's Ambassador to Indonesia Datuk Muzafar Shah Mustafa on Friday presented his credentials to President Prabowo Subianto at Istana Merdeka here, formally assuming his diplomatic post ahead of the 70th anniversary of Malaysia-Indonesia bilateral ties in 2027.

He was among 11 newly appointed ambassadors who presented their Letters of Credence to the Indonesian President during an official ceremony, according to a statement issued by the Presidential Secretariat.

Muzafar, who succeeds Datuk Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin, arrived in Jakarta on Aug 10 after receiving his Letters of Credence from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim at Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur on July 14.
