Increasing planned capacity to 21.45 MW
Cairo – TITAN Egypt has expanded its strategic partnership with SolarizEgypt, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, specializing in solar power development and generation, with the signing of an agreement to add 10 MW of solar power capacity to the existing solar project at its Beni Suef cement plant. The expansion builds on the power purchase agreement signed by the two companies in June 2026, bringing the project's total planned capacity to 21.45 MW.
Once completed and commercially operational, the expanded project is expected to generate approximately 43.2 GWh of electricity annually, helping meet part of the plant's electricity needs through renewable energy while reducing carbon emissions associated with electricity consumption.
Amr Reda, CEO of TITAN Egypt, commented: “Expanding our partnership with SolarizEgypt represents another important milestone in our efforts to advance more sustainable operations and strengthen our energy efficiency. We see investment in renewable energy as a key driver of our competitiveness and a practical way to reduce our carbon footprint, enabling us to sustain our growth amid the rapid changes shaping the industrial sector.
