NFL running back Joe Mixon recalls flying on same Learjet that crashed

Former Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Mixon 'absolutely devastated' by plane crash because he previously flew on same Learjet with same pilots.

Former Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon says he had previously flown on the plane that crashed in Florida on Sunday and killed all nine people onboard, including Houston native Adam Robinson, his wife and two children.

Mixon, who posted about it on social media Monday evening, said he also had the same crew of the Learjet 60: 55-year-old pilot Jeff Gregory and 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras.

“Absolutely devastated by yesterday’s tragic plane crash in Florida and the loss of all nine lives,” Mixon wrote. “I flew on that exact aircraft last month with those same two pilots. They were incredible professionals and genuinely wonderful people.”
