After sending half the internet into a meltdown with their Koffee With Karan appearance, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were back in the spotlight, this time at Manish Malhotra's annual Diwali party. Hosted at the designer's Mumbai residence, the intimate bash mostly saw members of his close-knit circle in attendance. Bebo opted for a rather trademark Manish Malhotra look – a shimmering champagne sequinned saree. Accompanying her was husband Saif, who kept his festive look simple and understated.
Kareena wore a sheer champagne-gold saree covered in tiny, closely arranged circular sequins. The all-over embellishment gives the drape a reflective, metallic finish. The saree's muted gold tone adds to its understated glamour, while the pallu falls neatly over her shoulder, not in pleats, but in an open drape style. She paired it with a halter-neck blouse featuring thin, embellished straps. The blouse has a deep, plunging neckline and an open-shoulder silhouette. Its relatively minimal design lets the heavily embellished saree take centre stage.
