Which Top 100 restaurant do you think took the No. 1 spot in 2026?

The annual Houston Chronicle list will be released Nov. 12. Take your best stab guessing at who you think might take the top spot.

My comrades and I logged many miles and many more calories in researching this year’s class of Top 100 Restaurants in Houston. We ate all styles of pizzas, snapped photos of multi-course tasting menus and left a trail of crumbs while attempting to eat as many banh mi as possible. On Nov. 12, we’ll name our top Houston restaurant of the year, followed by 24 other ranked restaurants and 75 others in our non-ranked alphabetized section of the list. The work depends on a non-stop cycle of eating, a bit of healthy debate and always paying for our meals. Which restaurant do you think took the No. 1 spot in 2026?
