Erica Stanford rated Government’s top Cabinet minister, Luxon stays outside top 10

Trade, including the India FTA, led the ratings at 4.42/5.

Notably, Chris Penk, who registered 10th place in the 2025 survey, left Parliament after the failed coup against the Prime Minister was exposed.

Luxon sits outside the Cabinet Top 10 again on this year’s survey. But Finance Minister Nicola Willis has returned in ninth place.

CEOs also rated the Coalition Government’s performance in key economic-related areas since the 2023 election on a 1-5 scale, where 1 = “not impressive” and 5 = “very impressive”.
