Health Ministry fills 64% of approved positions for 2026

PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry has completed filling 11,969 of the 18,640 positions approved for this year, representing 64.21% of the total allocated posts.

PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry has completed filling 11,969 of the 18,640 positions approved for this year, representing 64.21% of the total allocated posts.

The ministry, in a statement on Friday, said the remaining 6,671 posts, or 35.79%, were being processed, with 2,418 officers expected to complete their application, appointment and placement procedures this year.

"Of the remainder, 4,253 officers will only be placed next year, including 3,061 officers who will be appointed by the Public Service Commission (SPA) this year but placed early next year.
