Russell Brand’s defence barrister has reported himself to the Bar Standards Board after his outburst against a journalist following the conviction of his client for rape and sexual assault.
Ian Winter KC confronted Sunday Times journalist Rosamund Urwin, who worked on the 2023 investigation that led to Brand’s victims coming forward, outside the courtroom.
He told her: “I hope you are pleased with yourself.”
