The fourth edition of Art Mumbai returns with a significant expansion in international participation

A total of 94 exhibitors—comprising 73 Indian and 21 international galleries—will take the stage at the fourth edition of Art Mumbai to be held between November 12 and 15 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Six international galleries will be making their debut: Perrotin, Richard Saltoun, Night Gallery, Rizq Art Gallery, Niru Ratnam and Rajiv Menon Contemporary. “The international perspective on Indian and South Asian art has evolved considerably,” says Minal Vazirani, co-founder of Art Mumbai. “Collectors are now looking beyond the established modern masters and exploring a wider range of contemporary and emerging artists. For us, this represents a growing two-way exchange between Mumbai and the international art world.” The substantial Indian contingent underlines the fair’s growing strength, with 62 returning galleries and 11 new exhibitors such as Gallery Maskara, Phillips Antiques, Pristine Contemporary, Muziris Contemporary and others.
