CNOOC Ltd Production Hits Historic High

CNOOC Ltd said the first three quarters of 2026 delivered the company's highest-ever net production for the January-September period at 593.7 million barrels of oil equivalent, up 2.7 percent from the same period last year.
CNOOC Ltd said the first three quarters of 2026 delivered the company's highest-ever net production for the January-September period at 593.7 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe), up 2.7 percent from the same period last year.
Domestic production accounted for 408.5 MMboe, up 1.9 percent year-on-year, CNOOC Ltd, majority owned by China National Offshore Oil Corp, said in a press release.
"Overseas net production reached 185.1 MMboe, an increase of 4.3 percent year-on-year, which was mainly attributable to the production contribution from projects in Guyana and Brazil, among others", CNOOC Ltd said.
