BofA cuts Dentsply Sirona stock price target on guidance reset

Investing.com - BofA Securities lowered its price target on Dentsply Sirona shares (NASDAQ:XRAY) to $14 from $17 while maintaining a Buy rating on Friday. The stock currently trades at $8.14, near its 52-week low of $8.32, and appears undervalued according to InvestingPro analysis with a Fair Value of $14.74.

The firm said the company’s third-quarter results were not as encouraging to the turnaround story, but the guidance reset should help set a more reasonable base from which to grow. The 2026 earnings per share guidance excluding tariff refunds and inventory elimination benefits now tracks to $1.10 at the midpoint.

BofA noted some positive developments including a recovery in U.S. endodontics growth, double-digit growth in the U.S. market-integrated solutions value implant business and improving customer conversions. Growth is not yet stabilizing in connected technology solutions and orthodontic and implant solutions, but investments in product development and clinical education should yield results over time.
