Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk reportedly owes the San Francisco 49ers about $13 million in bonus money

It appears one of the NFL’s messiest relationships won’t end with a clean break.

Before there’s a divorce between wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and the San Francisco 49ers, a drawn-out process will likely be necessary to sever the dysfunctional union: Aiyuk owes the 49ers about $13 million in bonus money, the NFL Management Council and NFLPA are involved, the situation might require arbitration and “take time to resolve,” the Ringer’s Tom Pelissero reported.
