Through his acclaimed body of work, including Anhey Ghorhey Da Daan (2011), Chauthi Koot (2015) and Adh Chanani Raat (2022), director Gurvinder Singh has explored Punjab’s sociopolitical landscape. His latest feature, Rehmat, which was screened at the Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) 2026 following its world premiere at the 79th Locarno Film Festival in August, builds on this ongoing conversation.
