Nigerian startups are seeking better access to investment capital, as innovation intelligence firm Magna Collective brought 26 founders together with 16 venture investors for 61 pre-arranged meetings in Lagos.

The Investor Connection Drive, recently, aimed to address a key challenge for early-stage businesses: connecting with investors whose funding mandates, preferred sectors, and investment sizes align with their operations.

According to a statement on Saturday, the initiative came amid a recovery in funding for Nigerian startups, although investment remains concentrated among a relatively small number of companies.
