Abu Dhabi National Oil Co PJSC (ADNOC) said Friday it had signed a deal with Gujarat Energy Ltd (GEL) to supply India up to four million metric tons per annum (MMtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for 10 years from 2028.
"The agreement is ADNOC's fifth LNG supply agreement in India", ADNOC said in a press release.
Avantika Singh Aulakh, managing director of state-owned GEL, said, "GEL leads the market at every stage of the energy journey, backed by robust regasification infrastructure, a widespread city gas network operating across 44 districts in six states and a fast-growing trading presence in India".
