Was he spooked by Elon Musk’s moves to form his own telco? Did he have faith in Spark’s chief executive?

New Spark chairman Vince Hawksworth fielded a variety of spiky questions from shareholders at the telco’s annual shareholder meeting this morning, which also marked his first official day as thenew board head, replacing the long-serving Justine Smyth.

With no update to guidance, and only one resolution (to approve the auditor’s remuneration), the meeting quickly skipped to questions from investors on the floor and online.
