The Independent ·
President Donald Trump walked away without responding after a reporter challenged him over the midterm election results. Trump was speaking to press on Friday, 6 November, as he departed the White House for Florida, when a journalist asked him “How does it feel being a loser, Mr President”? The president continued walking without turning around or addressing the remark. Democrats seized control of both the Senate and House of Representatives on 3 November scoring sweeping victories in Republican strongholds for the first time in generations as tens of millions of voters delivered a scathing rebuke to Trump.
