The Mangroves for Coastal Resilience (M4CR) program is preparing the development of a mangrove carbon project in North Kalimantan covering an area of approximately 68,911 hectares. This initiative is a national pilot project forming part of efforts to strengthen the protection of mangrove ecosystems while opening up economic benefit opportunities for communities involved in their management.
