National Conference faces internal dissent with MLAs expressing concerns regarding Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's leadership style. The resignation of Aga Ruhullah as Srinagar MP has intensified these grievances among party members. Farooq Abdullah, the party president, has intervened to mediate the situation and address the dissident legislators' demands. Resentment over recent appointments, particularly that of Nasir Aslam Wani, is also contributing to the unrest.
