The investigation surrounding Meghan Markle’s estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., has taken a disturbing turn after Philippine authorities revealed the recovery of 7,500 photographs and one video allegedly depicting child sexual abuse. The materials were reportedly found in cell phones, memory cards and other belongings recovered from Markle’s former home in the Philippines. The revelation comes as the 82-year-old faces federal charges in the United States. Markle was arrested by FBI agents in Florida and appeared before a federal court in Tampa. He was subsequently released to a senior care facility under electronic monitoring. A judge also ordered a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether he is fit to understand the proceedings and assist his lawyer.
