Prince and Princess of Wales recreated in life-size cake

Life-size cake sculptures of the Prince and Princess of Wales have proved a major attraction at the Cake International show in Birmingham. The sculptures were carefully crafted by globally-renowned sugar artist Emma Jayne Cake Design and features William and Kate in full official dress. Describing the sculptures, the organisers said: “From the remarkable likenesses to the intricate details of their attire, every element has been meticulously crafted to bring the royal couple to life in cake form”. This year’s Cake International event began on 6 November and runs till 8 November.
