Hindalco expects its earnings to remain stable even if aluminium prices soften, managing director Satish Pai said after the company posted record September-quarter profit of Rs 7,533 crore. He cited the company's diversified businesses, including copper and downstream aluminium, as buffers against price volatility in its upstream aluminium operations.
