The U.K. government says a British doctor with Ebola has been evacuated from Congo to London. The man was working in Congo during the Ebola epidemic. He is the first British patient evacuated from the current outbreak of the deadly virus, and the third person to have tested positive to return to Europe. The Department of Health and Social Care says the patient was taken Thursday to the Royal Free Hospital that has a high-level isolation unit. The disease spreading in some of Congo’s remotest provinces has infected 10,600 people, more than 5,100 of whom have died.
